Why DUNA
The name DUNA is inspired by the Mediterranean landscape and the natural movement of sand, light and texture.
These influences shape our design language — organic, sculptural and timeless.
Meet Erik
DUNA started with a move, a love for the Costa del Sol, and a passion for creating beautiful spaces.
Originally from the Netherlands, Erik Mollemans spent many years designing and creating high-end gardens. From the first ideas on paper to the final details on site, he developed a strong eye for design, materials and craftsmanship — and, above all, for understanding what people really want from their space.
When Erik and his family moved to the Costa del Sol, he saw an opportunity to bring that experience into a new setting. Inspired by the natural beauty, architecture and relaxed way of life of the Mediterranean, DUNA was born.
DUNA builds on everything Erik has always valued: quality, craftsmanship and personal attention. The collection brings together sculptural furniture, textured surfaces and bespoke pieces, all designed to feel at home in the warm, natural character of the Costa del Sol.
For Erik, every project starts with the client. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Whether it is a dining table, a statement piece of furniture or a complete interior element, the goal is to understand how you want to live and create something that fits naturally into your home.
Good design should look beautiful, but it should also feel right.
That is what DUNA is about: creating timeless, handcrafted pieces with care, using quality materials and a personal approach — made here on the Costa del Sol.
